This just might be KElly Clarksons best Kellyoke segment yet…

She is known Cover country songs quite often on her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Showand she recently tipped her cap to the big one Ronnie Milsap with an incredible cover of his hit “Lost in the Fifties Tonight (In The Still of the Night)”.

The song is actually a medley of “Lost in the Fifties Tonight” written by Mike Reid and Troy Seals and a cover of The Five Satins’ 1956 hit “In the Still of the Night.”

It became the title track of Ronnie’s 17th studio album in 1986 and was the 42nd single he ever released. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart and became his 27th hit at the top of the country chart.

Kelly added a beautiful saxophone to her performance, and of course, as usual, she absolutely crushes it with the vocals.

It’s safe to say that she certainly did Ronnie justice by giving her her own soulful spin, so do yourself a favor and check it out:
