Lanes & Co jewelery shop opens on Shakespeare Street in Newcastle

Lanes & Co have established a base on Shakespeare Street with Founder and Managing Director Casey Lane at the helm.

With an international client base and a presence in Hatton Garden, London, the company offers various outlets for buying and selling high quality luxury goods, including its website and social platforms, as well as specialty auctions.

Casey Lane said: “I’m delighted to introduce Lanes & Co to the North East and bring elements of what I’ve learned from working in regions like Hatton Garden.

“The response, especially from the B2B community in the Northeast, was amazing. Relationship building is a core tenet at Lanes & Co and we very much look forward to further expanding our network and working on collaborations across the region.”

Casey, who is also Managing Director and Sales Director at Swan & Co, a portfolio company that is a point of sale specializing in the manufacture of bespoke jewelery and sourcing of luxury designer pieces, brings her expertise and a team of specialists providing valuations for various purposes and can be carried out on large collections down to a single item.

Casey added: “When lockdown came we had to recalibrate and redefine ways to continue to keep businesses operating under lockdown. The move to online auctions was a key turning point for the business and increased our global reach.

“We are now working internationally and on a number of exciting assignments and are currently in contact with clients in Dubai trying to penetrate the new exciting markets there.”
