Lewis Hamilton is set to snub Ferrari and will soon sign a new deal with Mercedes

Ewis Hamilton has dismissed reports of a move to Ferrari and insisted he is close to signing a new deal with Mercedes.
Rumors circulated that Ferrari was willing to negotiate a £40million-a-year deal to lure Hamilton off the grid.
However, the 38-year-old insisted no talks had taken place and, amid doubts about his Mercedes future, said he plans to stick around and put a new deal on paper.
Hamilton said he has a team on site negotiating with team boss Toto Wolff.
The seven-time world champion said ahead of Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix: “This is the first time I’ve not negotiated myself and I’ve got a great team behind me doing all the work and I’m able to concentrate at.” work. I say what I want and we work towards that.
“Of course there will always be speculation in contract negotiations and if you don’t hear it from me, that’s what it is.
“Maybe with the race [in Imola] Since they were cancelled, they just got bored. My team is working closely with Toto behind the scenes and we’re close to signing. It’s a lot more relaxing because I’ve done it myself before.”
