Listener identifies where to get ‘cheap eggs’ in south Louisiana

We all try to save money these days.

In the past few weeks, we’ve seen the prices of things like gas and even groceries spike.

Lots on social media are now talking about how expensive it is to get eggs and we recently discussed this topic on-air.

A listener called out to the show and had some advice for all of us looking for cheaper eggs in southern Louisiana.

If you’ve driven through the countryside here before, you’ve seen people selling vegetables, farm animals, and other things.

Now that egg prices are so high these days, you might want to keep an eye out for those selling eggs in the country.

The caller says he’s seen people selling eggs a lot cheaper than the “big department stores”. and he encourages us all to drive across the country/smaller rural towns when it comes to saving eggs.

He makes a great point because like you, I’ve seen people selling eggs on the side of the road and never thought much about it until now.
