Thousands gather for the first day of the Cheltenham Festival
The Cheltenham Festival returns in 2023 with an exciting week of racing in the Cotswolds known as ‘The Greatest Show on Turf’ as racegoers descend on the legendary circuit.

Cheltenham Festival: Brighton owner Tony Bloom celebrates Energumene’s victory
Energumene retained his Queen Mother Champion Chase crown at the Cheltenham Festival and owner Tony Bloom, who also owns Brighton and Hove Albion, may have clinched bookmakers’ biggest win of the week.
There were reports of two bets totaling £600,000 on the horse which would have returned around £830,000.

Cheltenham today: weather forecast for day 3 and off we go
Ongoing update: soft, good to soft in places for day three
Bettors can take advantage of the forecast and adjust their selections accordingly on Day 3, it’s soft, good to soft in places, from Thursday morning and racing will switch to the new course after two days of racing on the old course.
