Virgil van Dijk is also unavailable due to his one-game suspension, while Ibrahima Konate and Thiago Alcantara are out due to injury.
New Villa signing Lenglet is unlikely to drop straight back into the starting XI after joining on loan from Barcelona on deadline day.
