Picture this: you hop on your Peloton pedals and prepare to be “100 percent that bitch” and crush a Lizzo-themed ride when the Grammy-winner herself struts in to ride with you . This is exactly the scenario that played out for a group of lucky riders who visited Peloton’s New York studio on July 15 for a live class led by instructors Robin Arzón and Jess Sims. To celebrate the release of her new album Special, Lizzo crashed the ride She entered the studio to the tune of her song Good as Hell — and lots of cheers, of course.
During the 30-minute two-for-one ride, Lizzo sang along to hits new and old, and her Big Grrrls backup singers even joined in the fun to create some choreography, clad in all-pink Yitty activewear. To no one’s surprise, so many people tried to attend the live remote class that the entire Peloton platform crashed for several hours. “Sorry baby, we broke the internet!” Arzón then joked in a video with Sims and Lizzo. If you missed the ride, don’t worry because it’s now available on demand in Peloton’s class library.
