Loose Women menopause talk slammed amid plea to ITV

The menopause coverage of Loose Women, as well as This Morning and Lorraine, has left some ITV viewers with a desperate plea to the channel.

Some viewers of the hit ITV shows are fed up with the constant discussions about menopause – many have taken to Twitter to express their grievances.

This morning, menopause coverage from Lorraine and Loose Women

There was a common theme running through most of ITV’s morning and early afternoon programs today.

Menopause was discussed at various points throughout the morning on all four programs.

During today’s edition of Lorraine, hosted by Ranvir Singh, she welcomed Dr. Anisha Patel on the show.

During her performance, Dr. Anisha answered viewers’ questions about menopause and offered advice.

Later on This Morning, menopause was talked about more.

Casual menopause discussion for women

Of course, This Morning has its own Menopause Bus, which is currently touring the country.

The bus is used to raise awareness and is regularly promoted by This Morning.

Today’s Loose Women also featured a chat about menopause – when Lisa Snowdon joined the panellists to talk about her journey into menopause.

The 50-year-old told how she struggled with menopause eight years ago.

She explained how she was “terrible” with her partner because she was struggling with menopause.

Viewers desperately appeal to ITV

Today some viewers finally had enough of ITV’s menopause coverage – and took to Twitter to complain.

“Might as well turn morning TV into menopause TV,” grumbled one viewer.

“A bit over the top on that subject now. Would like to hear more balance and from women who are okay with it.

“And let us be informed and enlightened by specialists and not by celebrities,” pleaded another viewer.

“Anyone else tired of celebrities shoving their menopause stories down our throats?!” a third ranted.

Was menopause only recently discovered?????? Bbecause #Lorraine #this morning and #permissive women Not [bleeping] keep quiet about it! sort it out @itv,” tweeted another.

“It is important for women”

However, some viewers were not happy with those who complained. “Said the man. It’s being talked about now because it’s been kept hidden for so many years. It’s important for women.”

“So much negativity. Menopause affects people differently, a high percentage of women who have been given antidepressants when HRT could have helped them, women who take their own lives. Some feel ashamed.

“That’s why it’s being talked about – to help,” wrote another.
