Louise Redknapp has revealed her son’s move away is a big challenge and admitted she will “cry 10 times a day”.
Her 18-year-old son Charley is preparing to move out – but he’s not just walking down the street.
The teenager is about to make a massive change and is heading to Arizona to continue his athletic career.

But while Louise, 47, will be proud of her son, it’s been a real challenge for her and she’s found it hard to accept thanks to her close bond with him.
In conversation with HELLO! Louise said: “I’ll literally cry about 10 times a day, he’s leaving this weekend.
“I’m sure many women reading this have been there. We’re very close to me and Chaz, he’s been a huge strength for me to have him here, he’s like one of my best little friends.
“It’s so hard to accept that as a parent you have to let them fly the nest, you have to let them grow up, they have to settle down, but the next few weeks are going to be a real challenge.”
She told the magazine that while she’s excited for him, she’s “really, really scared” that he’s so far away.
How often will she see him?
Until he settles in, she won’t know his schedule, so she can’t plan to see him. But if she does, she said she won’t “go more than four or five weeks without seeing him.”
And his younger brother Beau takes his brother’s big move as an opportunity to change his living situation and already has his eye on his bedroom!
Louise is close to her two sons, whom she shares with her ex-husband, footballer Jamie Redknapp.
Last month, she posted a photo of her and Charley before his seniors’ dinner.
The Instagram post was captioned: “So proud of my boy and my best friend. Graduates tonight. Next stop university.”
