Louisiana High School Cheerleader Struck by Brazen Gunfire

A Louisiana high school cheerleader was reportedly shot in the leg when gunfire rang out in a gas station parking lot. The incident followed the school’s homecoming dance and the video shows the chaotic scene where gunmen opened fire on a crowd.
It all reportedly happened at a Shreveport gas station after the homecoming dance for Huntington High School. The report states that many students hung out in the gas station’s parking lot while others attended an afterparty nearby.
Reports add that a spectator witnessed a fight at a nearby events center just after midnight. After several fights were broken up at the venue, some of this group reportedly ran to the gas station.

As the Shreveport Police Department continues to investigate the shooting, they say the 17-year-old high school senior wasn’t the only person shot in the incident. A 20-year-old was also shot and also survived.
“Whatever is lolling about among themselves has to stop,” said the high school graduate’s mother in an interview. “It’s gotten to the point where they can’t even do the normal things in life,” she said.
