There was no big jackpot winner in last night’s Powerball draw. When the ping-pong balls dropped, the game’s estimated top prize was $51.4 million. This is what this drawing looked like when it happened.

When the bouncing balls came to rest, these were the numbers chosen according to the game’s official website, Powerball.com.

As we mentioned before, not a single ticket was sold that matched the required numbers to win the game’s grand prize. However, we do know that a ticket sold in Austin Texas this morning is worth $2,000,000. That was the biggest prize in the multi-state lottery game of the night.

Here in Louisiana, in addition to the $200,000 Powerball winner, 21 tickets were sold in the state that can claim a cash prize of $100 or more from yesterday’s drawing. Of those tickets, five are worth $400 due to the x4 boost of the Power Play option.

The winning tickets are eligible for their cash prizes for matching either four white ball numbers or three white balls and the Powerball. Hey, just smile, over 300 players managed to double their money last night by winning $7 dollars or more. While that’s not much, it’s certainly better than ripping up the ticket and throwing it in the trash.

The $200,000 winner was sold at a RaceTrac store at 3730 Harding Street in Baton Rouge. This store is located just off Interstate 110 in Baton Rouge and fairly close to Baton Rouge Airport.

The state’s other Wednesday/Saturday games, Lotto and Easy 5, produced no winners in last night’s draws, so these jackpots continue to grow. On Wednesday, the lottery top prize will be an estimated $2,100,000 and the Easy 5 jackpot will be an estimated $160,000.
