Love Island’s Tyrique says he’s “not shut up” while flirting with Jess

Midway through the show, Tyrique Hyde hinted at leaving Glasgow-born contestant Ella to explore relationships with others.

Speaking to Jess over by the daybeds, he was asked how things are going with Ella.

He said: “Of course it’s going well but I’m not closed off, I’ve been telling everyone that from the start,” before telling Jess, “You looked sexy this morning.”

Jess laughed before saying, “Do you say that to every girl?”

Tyrique replied and said, “I’m being honest! I’ll say how I feel,” before adding, “You’re a good kisser.”

Tyrique split between Jess and Ella Thomas as Love Island fans left on a cliffhanger

At the end of the show, Tyrique had to make a decision about staying on Ella Thomas or go with Jess.

After making his decision, he told Jess that he considered them more of “friends” and decided to stay with Ella.

When they broke the news to Ella, the two shared a kiss on the show to seal their relationship.
