Man (47) charged with police assault and criminal damage in Bangor due in court
A 47-year-old man faces charges in court today on a range of offenses in Bangor, including assaulting police.
The PSNI said the charges relate to a series of incidents that occurred between October 2021 and August 2022.
They include; 12 counts of property damage, two counts of attempted property damage, three counts of ordinary assault, two counts of harassment and two counts of intimidation causing a person to leave their home or occupation.
He is scheduled to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court today via video link.
According to the usual procedure, all charges are reviewed by the public prosecutor’s office.
