Bernardo Silva is often one of the first names on City’s team roster, hence his recent move to an unorthodox role at left-back with Ilkay Gundogan and Rodri kept in the team.

On Monday, De Bruyne appeared alongside Guardiola at the pre-match press conference to nod to him for starting the game, which he does.
