A 34-year-old man who is not criminally responsible for a fatal knife attack in Scarborough in 2013 is on the run for the second time in 18 months
According to Toronto police, Kalib Dufty, who police also had to track down in 2022, was last seen in the area of Coxwell and Mortimer Aves. — where Michael Garron Hospital is located — around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The victim’s name has not been released at this time.
Dufty was found not criminally responsible for the murder on April 24, 2017 (NCR).
“He is currently bound on a Form 49 warrant and a bench warrant,” said Const. Laura Brabant said this on Wednesday and explained that Dufty had been admitted to the care of a provincial psychiatric hospital.
