Man hospitalised after early morning attack in west Belfast

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital after an attack by a group of men in West Belfast this morning.

PSNI Sergeant Hakin said police received a report at 5.20am that the man had been attacked as he was walking down Springfield Road.

“The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. Our investigation is still at an early stage and we are appealing to anyone who has been in the area or may have taken dashcam footage to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 200 dated 11/21/22. ” he said.
