Man Utd defender Victor Lindelof was wanted by Inter Milan in the summer when the transfer price was announced

The Italians were rebuffed when they offered the centre-back on loan in January.

Lindelof was keen to stay and fight to regain his place with the Red Devils.

But with two World Cup finalists ahead of him, Inter know a bid close to the £31m he cost from Benfica in 2017 could land him.

Lindelof has made 20 appearances in all competitions this season.

But only five have come in the form of Premier League starts.
