Reports of a man with a knife on a street in Westend led police to the body of a woman late Sunday.

Toronto police were called to the area of ​​Davenport Road at 10:25 p.m. and Uxbridge Ave., near Old Weston Rd. and St. Clair Ave. for reports of a man with a knife.

“Police arrived on scene, found a man with a knife and arrested him,” the deputy inspector said. Keri Fernandes said at the scene early Monday.

“As a result, a woman was found with injuries to her body in a house in another location. The woman succumbed to her injuries.”

The woman was found at a home on Chambers Ave., near Rogers and Old Weston Rds.
