Manchester United warned Mykhailo Mudryk after Rasmus Hojlund’s debut

The £72million new signing arrived at Old Trafford with an injury and delayed his first minutes of play until a half-hour cameo in Sunday’s defeat to Arsenal.
The energetic Hojlund impressed after replacing the ineffective Anthony Martial, almost winning a penalty and helping Alejandro Garnacho score the late winner, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Paul Merson has joined the growing number of Hojlund fans but was sure to bring the fanbase back down to earth in his latest column for Sky Sports.
He wrote: “The days of Sir Alex Ferguson are long gone. They are as far from winning the league as you will ever see. I know everyone is a long way from Manchester City, but they are a million miles away.”
“You forget that they are one of the greatest teams in the world. Man Utd can’t even find £7m for Marc Cucurella. They take a player.” [Sergio Reguilon] That can’t even play for Tottenham.
“They also have the Jadon Sancho thing now. Just keep it in the house.
“Rasmus Hojlund looked good – quite a handful. But that took 20 minutes. I saw Mykhailo Mudryk for 20 minutes in Liverpool in January and I haven’t seen him since.
Chelsea beat Arsenal to the £88m signing of Mudryk in January but is yet to score his first goal or assist for the club after a lively debut.
