Sensing tensions in the family home, Iris attempts to flee, but Mike forcefully prevents her from leaving the house. The detectives comment on how this shootout differs from the others when innocent bystanders are caught up in the chaos. A police officer is even seen throwing himself up after witnessing all the bloody violence. Mike and Ian find a discarded gun and follow a trail of blood. They soon discover a living victim hiding behind the trash cans. He won’t elaborate on exactly what happened, but admits that this massacre was just another retaliatory tactic. They see it as a kind of eye-to-eye battle, and Mike believes everyone will lose in such situations. Again, the lack of leadership within the prison system means there is no order outside either.

Hare agrees that this chaos is getting out of control. He has an intense argument with Mike at his trusty rooftop palace. Bunny is honest with Mike; He didn’t give the order and instead blamed the prison guards. They kill inmates and then throw away the bodies, this could have provoked outside criminals to fight back. Wanting an end to all this violence, Mike asks Bunny to arrange a truce. Bunny believes that everything that happens outside must be repeated in prison. The Crips leader wants Mike to act as an intermediary in these negotiations. Mike has an aha moment, he asks Bunny to give him three hours and trust him he has a plan.

Leaders from both sides of this war meet to hear Mike’s master plan. Karem joins Robert, who begins searching the gang leaders. The rivals are obviously hostile at first, but Mike keeps the peace. He is about to explain his plan when Evelyn arrives with a bulletproof vest. Then police cars pull up with wailing sirens. It appears that the gang members have been scammed. Mike tells her to stay calm and explains the situation. You will be arrested on new charges. Once they restore peace, they will be released again. That means peace for everyone, and Mike wants the guards to behave as well.

end explained

Before the episode ends, Mike pays Iris a visit and finds that she has made a runner. Then we cut to Kyle’s day job. He hates his new partner who never plays by the rules. The partner irresponsibly attracts a driver. He goes over without driving the plates and is shot by the driver. Kyle shoots the driver and then unpredictably destroys the rest of the car with more gunfire. In his panicked state, he calls on Tragedy, desperate for support and medical attention, but unable to remember his location. Then he hears a baby cooing in the back seat. It’s a truly heartbreaking scene that seems to come out of nowhere.

Next, Iris wanders the streets at night. She enters a church building and finds Milo hiding in a back room. She tells the Russian gangster that she has nowhere to go, no home to call her own. Milo takes her back with open arms and they hug. Then, in the final moments of the second chapter, the gang leaders arrive at the prison camp. Crowds gather to welcome the new occupants, but they fall silent as Bunny steps out of the vehicle. The inmates didn’t see this twist coming, though they don’t seem particularly pleased with their newcomers either.
