McDonald’s: Grab this menu favorite for half price today

For today (September 4th) only, after 11am the fast food chain is slashing the price of the classic McChicken sandwich to £1.39 (a saving of £2.80).

The iconic burger filled with crispy breaded chicken, lettuce and sandwich sauce, all on a soft sesame-topped bun, is ideal for lunch or dinner and even more appetizing at this price.

How do I get a McDonald’s discount on McChicken Sandwich and a single McMuffin?

These early September offers are only available via McDonald’s app which can be downloaded from Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Customers can earn points when purchasing any of these offers by signing up for them MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

The program means that every cent spent equals one reward point. So with this week’s deals, you’ll get 119 points if you grab a single McMuffin and 139 points if you grab a McChicken sandwich.

How do MyMcDonald’s Rewards work in the app?

There is a good selection of rewards that customers can treat themselves to when certain milestones are reached.

When customers reach 1,500 points, they can choose from menu items such as small fries, a hash brown, a regular cold soft drink or a side salad.

With 2,500 points you can get a double cheeseburger, a vegetable deluxe or an apple pie.

Customers now have the choice between 4,000 points Menu favorites like six Chicken McNuggets, a Big Mac or Filet-O-Fish.

Finally, once the 5,500 point milestone is reached, customers can choose between a Mighty McMuffin, a McSpicy, a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese or a McCrispy.

Customers also have the option to donate the cash equivalent of their points to charities like FareShare to support the company’s commitment to reduction Food poverty and waste in the UK.

McDonald’s breakfast is available from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and McDonald’s lunch menu is available daily from 11:00 a.m.
