Megan Moroney is making her Grand Ole Opry debut next month

2023 is off to an incredible start for Megan Moroney.

Not only is she in the studio working on her debut album, fresh off a record deal with Sony, she’s slated to make her Grand Ole Opry debut next month.

She shared the news of her first performance at the Mother Church of Country Music in a post on Instagram, along with a video showing the amazing Jamey Johnson and Deana Carter (who came in on FaceTimed) delivering it to her together.

As she mentioned in the caption, you know if Jamey makes a surprise visit to the studio, it’ll be something to be excited about:

“When @jameyjohnsonofficial surprises you in the studio with @deanatunes on FaceTime you know it must be a good thing!!!!!

I’m so excited to be making my Opry debut on February 11th.”

Megan’s performance takes place on February 11:

In addition to working on her first studio album, Megan recently submitted her first single to country radio “Tennessee Orange”, which first went viral on TikTok and quickly became a fan favorite.

Co-authoring Megan, Ben Williams, David Fanning, and Paul Jenkins, she sings about falling in love with a guy who seemingly turned her into a Tennessee Volunteers fan, as she admits she’s now “Tennessee Orange.” for him” and even finds himself going to games at Neyland Stadium.

Also, since she’s a die-hard Georgia Bulldogs fan, he makes her commit the most egregious sins her daddy would never condone, like “learning the words of old ‘Rocky Top'” and even forgetting that she “red always looked better.” .”
