MGM, Red Sox Ink Preseason Sports Betting Deal

Online sports betting launches March 10th in Massachusetts, and one of the state’s leading gaming companies has signed a new marketing deal ahead of the launch.

BetMGM announced that it is now an “Official Sportsbook Partner” of the Boston Red Sox. This deal marks the sportsbook’s first relationship with a Massachusetts sports team and the first sportsbook partnership for the Red Sox.

“The Red Sox are one of baseball’s most beloved organizations and we are thrilled to introduce BetMGM to their passionate fans,” said Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer, BetMGM. “We look forward to working together to enhance the Boston Gameday experience.”

BetMGM signs will feature at Fenway Park as part of the partnership, including on the iconic Green Monster, the stadium’s left field wall.

BetMGM will also have a suite at the stadium V.I.P Fan experiences including access to batting practice with premium seats, alumni performances and ceremonial first pitches. Co-branded gaming content will be integrated into the Red Sox and BetMGM digital and social media platforms.

The Red Sox and MGM Resorts, owners of a casino in Springfield, Massachusetts, were already casino partners. Fenway Sports Group also chose the company as The’s naming rights partner MGM Music Hall at Fenway, which opened in September 2022.
