Mick Foley shares his thoughts on The Undertaker’s WWE Hall of Fame speech

WWE Legend Mick Foley recently spoke about Undertaker’s Hall of Fame speech from earlier this year.

Finally, on April 1, 2022, The Phenom was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. During his speech, he thanked legends like Shawn Michaels and Triple H. However, to the surprise of many fans, the Deadman didn’t mention Foley, with whom Taker shared many iconic moments in the ring.

In his speech on Foley Is Pod, Mick stated that the omission of Undertaker from his speech did not disappoint.

“I think it’s a lot to do with very little. Maybe it’s not nothing. The sad thing for me is that people took offense at my daughter, who just innocently said it was a great speech, but I wish he would mention my dad.” Foley added, “Look, I never expect one Mention. That’s my feeling – glass half full guy. I never expect it, but it’s always nice when it happens. So if someone asked me, I wish they would mention my names? Yes, sure, that would have been really nice. But I won’t say I’m disappointed because I don’t expect it. H/T 411 mania

Mick Foley and The Undertaker shared one of the most iconic moments in wrestling history in 1998 after the Deadman threw his opponent off the cell ceiling, creating a moment that will last forever.

The Undertaker does not mention Mick Foley in the Hall of Fame

As someone who wrestled in WWE for over 30 years, the phenom has been involved in countless memorable feuds.

During a recent interview with Bleacher Report, The Undertaker said he feels sorry for any fans who are upset that Foley was kicked out of his Hall of Fame speech.

“I love Mick Foley,” he continued. “I think what we’ve done will stand the test of time in terms of our perspective. But then I can talk about Edge and so on. I haven’t spoken to any of these guys. I hope they didn’t hurt their feelings but it wasn’t about all of that. It was about my journey and the things I’ve learned over those 30+ years that I wanted to share with others and help them in their lives and thank the WWE Universe. That’s what it was about. If anyone was offended, I’m sorry.” H/T in the ropes

Foley and The Undertaker’s friendship looks to be of great benefit as the two legends were seen ringside in Ric Flair’s final match last weekend.
