Murder investigation: Man dies after incident on Spurn Walk in Hartlepool

A 66-year-old man and two women, aged 36 and 55, are being questioned by investigators after a man in his 20s died late Monday afternoon as riots broke out in the Burbank area of ​​Hartlepool.

A Cleveland Police spokesman said: “Police visited Spurn Walk in Hartlepool at around 4.05pm on Monday May 22 following reports of a violent altercation.

“Unfortunately, a man in his 20s died as a result of the incident.”

“A murder investigation is ongoing and three people have been arrested in connection with the incident. All three of those arrested, a 66-year-old man and two women, aged 36 and 55, are in police custody.

“Officials remain on site and continue the investigation.”
