Sunday afternoon brings an intriguing cross-conference matchup as the Brooklyn Nets travel to the Mile High City to battle west-leading Denver Nuggets. The tip is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET at the Ball Arena. Below are the Nets vs Nuggets odds.
Brooklyn earns a nail-biting OT win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, helping them stay in sixth place in the East for now. Denver, on the other hand, just lost to the modest San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
Nets vs Nuggets Odds
team | spread | money line | In total |
---|---|---|---|
Brooklyn Networks | +8 (-110) | +280 | Over 232 (-110) |
Denver nuggets | -8 (-110) | -340 | Un 232 (-110) |
The Nuggets are eight points at home on Sunday at +280 money line odds. They covered 54.6% of their competitions in 2022-23. The Nets are coming back at +280 and are actually playing well as ATS street underdogs, posting a 13-7 record. This is the first meeting between the two this season, with the Nuggets winning both matchups a year ago.

Bridges leading the way to Brooklyn
There’s no question the Nets have had their fair share of doubters since trading Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. But one acquisition in particular has been proving to be a real star since arriving in Brooklyn: Mikal Bridges. The former Sun averaged 25.8 PPG, 5.0 RPG and 2.8 RPG in 12 games with his new team while shooting a paltry 49% from long range.
Once again, Bridges was the leading catalyst in the win over Minnesota. He finished with a team-high 34 points while shooting 54% from the field. Spencer Dinwiddie, who also came by at the close, shot out of the tournament with 29 points and 11 assists.
Mikal Bridges scored 34 points in Nets win!
Dinwiddie: “I don’t think anyone knew that Mikal is so amazing on offense that he’s just completely genuine.”

The Nets really couldn’t miss a chance in this competition, dropping 47% of their trebles. That played a big role in the result, although it was overplayed in color. Four wins in the last five definitely bodes well for the redesigned side, who prove they still have what it takes to reach the playoffs.
Denver wants to recover
Though the Nuggets still lead in the Western Conference, they’ll be looking for a comeback at home. First it was a blowout loss to the struggling Bulls, and on Friday Michael Malone’s squad was overplayed by the rebuilding Spurs.
Nikola Jokic’s triple-double wasn’t enough to get the job done as Denver failed to get inside. San Antonio passed them 50-33 and outclassed the Nuggets 68-54 in the paint. Also, the Nuggets gave up 24 points for the second chance. Just not enough attention to detail.

Jamal Murray added 24 points to become the franchise leader in three-pointers. Michael Porter Jr, meanwhile, was ejected after grabbing Zach Collins by the throat but a suspension is unlikely. On a more positive note, Denver has an impressive 30-5 in the ball arena. That’s a good sign for this competition.
LAFC vs. New England Revolution Odds and Predictions – MLS Week 3 (March 12)
Nets vs Nuggets Prediction
The spread is pretty steep here. While the Nuggets are 20-12-1 as the ATS home favorite, the Nets are above .500 and thriving as underdogs. Denver likely gets it, but the result will be narrower than eight points for our Nets vs. Nuggets picks.
Tip: Nets +8 (-110)
