Genshin Impact 3.0 brings a ton of new content to the game, with players exploring a whole new region, playing with new characters, and tons of secrets to uncover. Some of the big changes coming will have major impacts on the game’s meta, with new artifact sets altering builds and gameplay along with changes to several mechanics to help new players.
Fans can find leaked information about these new features here so they can prepare early for the game’s latest update.
Recent Genshin Impact leaks hint at new artifact features, banner changes, and more
Genshin Impact 3.0 looks to be one of the biggest updates the game has had to date, with a comprehensive array of changes and additions to the game.
Fans can check out the new Artifact Sets here, designed to buff Dendro characters, along with a new set of Artifact Coffers that will make it much easier to start building characters. There are also some leaked changes to the default banner that could upend the way players use their Acquaintance Destinies in the future.
The new Artifact Sets coming in the Genshin Impact 3.0 update seem to focus on boosting Dendro and Elemental mastery and allowing for varied playstyles with the game’s upcoming Element. Known as Memories of the Deep Forest and Ornamental Gold Dream, these two sets offer these effects:
Memories of the deep forest:
- 2 PC- 15% Dendro DMG bonus.
- 4 PC- When enemies gain elemental DMG, Dendro resistance is reduced by 25% for 8 seconds. This can be triggered when the damaging character is off the field.
Ornamental gold dream:
- 2 PC Elemental Mastery is increased by 80.
- 4-PC- When triggering an elemental reaction, the presence of 1/2/3 characters of the same element on the same team will cause the character that triggered the reaction to gain an ATK% boost based on the number of characters that matched. The same effect will trigger with other elemental characters, resulting in an increase in Elemental Mastery instead. This can be triggered once every eight seconds and can be done outside of the field.
Players will definitely want to save up some resin to farm these artifacts once Sumeru launches as they will come in very handy for future characters like Tighnari and Cyno. With Dendro Damage and Elemental Mastery boosts, these characters can take advantage of the game’s latest elemental reactions with ease.
Artifact Casket Changes
The Genshin Impact 3.0 update will also introduce a variety of new artifact sets to the game’s Artifact Strongboxes. This mechanic allows players to slot in their unwanted 5-star artifacts in hopes of getting a more useful one. Five artifacts are required to craft a casket that yields a single artifact of the chosen set. A total of 39 artifacts can be sacrificed at once, which is a great way to discard built-up artifacts that aren’t being used.
The artifacts included in this update include all Mondstadt and Liyue artifacts, with the exception of the Millelith Tenacity and Pale Flame artifacts. It is not known why they are excluded, but it is likely that they will be added in another update.
Default Banner Changes
According to new leaks, players may see the game’s first new 5-star addition to the default banner, with sources claiming that Tighnari will be available on the default banner after Genshin Impact 3.0. Fans have been asking for changes to the default banner from very early in the game’s lifespan, and it would make sense for a Dendro 5-Star to be the first addition.
This gives all players the chance to summon a 5-star that belongs to every element available, although the chances are still quite low. That information is still uncertain for now, but fans should keep a closer eye on their Acquaint Fates as they roll on the default banner.
Genshin Impact 3.0 leaks have shown that this update could be very important for the future of the game.
