Not a day goes by in the NFL that there isn’t news for us to comb through. While this time of year is generally quieter, this time it’s about to be awash with news.

Teams are currently taking a little break while preparing for training camp and the start of a long, hard grind that is an NFL season.

If you’ve missed any news in the league, fear not because we’ve got you covered. Here are the latest headlines from the NFL.

Deshaun Watson’s hearing ends

We’re getting closer and closer to how Deshaun Watson will be suspended. After a three-day disciplinary hearing in Delaware before Judge Sue Robinson, it officially ended today, according to Ian Rapoport.

The disciplinary hearing regarding #Brown QB Deshaun Watson is through for the day, meaning it’s over after three days. The wait for Judge Sue Robinson’s verdict begins.

Robinson is now tasked with drafting a suspension for the Browns quarterback. Because of the civil charges against him for sexual assault and sexual misconduct.

It has been reported that the league want a one-year ban for Watson and it will be interesting to see where the final decision ends up. For many, the length of the suspension has been the subject of much debate and it finally feels like we’re getting closer to a decision.

Russell Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos months ago in a blockbuster deal. It was a move that signaled the Broncos are true Super Bowl contenders. For Denver wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, the prospect of playing in the future NFL Hall of Famer is something he’s excited about.

Speaking to ABC 7 Denver’s Troy Renck, Jeudy said he was excited to play with Wilson.

jeudy said:

“With (Wilson) every detail is important, you learn a lot from how hard he works and how focused he is when he’s on the field and on the board. You can tell how much he cares about him. I learned a lot a great quarterback. I look forward to playing with him. I mean, it’s going to be very exciting.”

In a stacked AFC West, Denver will have their hands full trying to make it out of the division. The Raiders and Chargers have strengthened significantly, while the Chiefs are still “the Chiefs” with Patrick Mahomes at the helm.

It will be fascinating to see how the Broncos fare with Wilson under center.

Kareem Hunt is feeling good after the injury-plagued 2021 NFL season

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt has finally turned the tide with his injuries. After only playing eight games last year (only one in the starting XI), the 26-year-old feels good.

He has played 32 games in three seasons in the NFL and only started nine as injuries have dogged him since moving from Kansas City.

Speaking to’s Ashley Bastock, the running back is in good shape when it comes to his body.

hunt said:

“I’m fine, I’m 100%. I have some time to heal this offseason and get back into it. So the body feels good, nothing bothers me.”

Kareem Hunt says he is “100%” after battling a calf injury last year. Also talks about his desire for a contract extension and what it would mean to stick with it #Brown long term what @MaryKayCabot reported a few weeks ago.

After exploding onto the NFL scene with the Chiefs in 2017, where he rushed for 1,327 yards and eight touchdowns in 16 games. Hunt has since found consistent playing time to be a challenge.

With Nick Chubb the “guy” for the Browns, the duo makes having someone like Hunt a back-up extremely deadly. Hopefully Hunt can put all of his recent injury history behind him and have another excellent season in 2022.
