The Chiefs were already playing with fire by relying on so many unproven receivers, and with Travis Kelce out, they really messed up in the opener.
WASHINGTON -7 over Arizona
The Cards haven’t named a starting QB yet, but that doesn’t matter. Whether it’s Josh Dobbs or Clayton Tune, they’ll be under pressure all day from the Commanders Pass rush. With a new owner and the fans behind the team, Washington gets a big W.
ATLANTA -3.5 over Carolina
Panthers coach Frank Reich has a terrible record in Week 1, and with Bryce Young making his first career start, that doesn’t bode well either. Don’t forget to factor in the fact that the Cats’ top pass rusher, Brian Burns, may be out and this could get ugly.

This Battle of Ohio is a real mess. We’re not sure how close Joe Burrow will be to 100% with the Bengals, but we’re also not sure what kind of performance we’ll get from Deshaun Watson after his terrible performance to close out 2022. to invest a lot in him.
BALTIMORE -10 over Houston
It’s a new era in Baltimore with a new offense that doesn’t depend as heavily on the fast-paced exploits of Lamar Jackson. In Houston, they’re starting their own era with CJ Stroud at the helm, but they’re still a long way from achieving much.
PITTSBURGH +2.5 over San Francisco
Signing Nick Bosa certainly helps the 49ers, but the Steelers have an equal player in TJ Watt who will be on the line all summer. You can hardly argue against the Steelers as a home coach.

Tampa Bay +6 over MINNESOTA
The Vikings were the kings of one-score games last season and were incredibly lucky. The Bucs are in for a down season, but there is still some talent on this roster and we don’t rule out them sticking around.
Jacksonville -4.5 over INDIANAPOLIS
If the Jags want to prove that they are indeed the team to beat in the AFC South, they will have to take care of business with their rivals. Anthony Richardson is on his first career start but will not have the help of RB star Jonathan Taylor.
Tennessee +3 over NEW ORLEANS
Both teams have their sights set on the playoffs this season and would like to start strong but are standing in each other’s way. While both sides have their strengths, the greatest strength lies in the coaching arena, and that’s on the Titans’ side.

SEATTLE -5.5 over LA Rams
With Cooper Kupp out and potentially going on IR, the Rams have lost the only true weapon they have on offense. These two teams may know each other well, but they are going in different directions this year.
Green Bay +1.5 over CHICAGO
Justin Fields faces a tough challenge early in the season, but the Bears roster isn’t quite there yet. The Packers are a good sleeper this season and should start strong against a team they have a good history against.
DENVER -4 over Las Vegas
The Raiders have won six consecutive times in this divisional rivalry, but the Broncos have come out on top this year. Sean Payton has been brought in to turn things around while the desert is in chaos.
LA CHARGERS -3 over Miami

This should be one of the matchups of the week, pitting two powerful offenses against each other. When healthy, the Chargers have as strong a roster as can be, while Miami has a few question marks.

Philadelphia -3.5 over NEW ENGLAND
Will the curse of Super Bowl losers hit the Eagles from the start? We don’t think that’s likely given how solid the roster remains. The Pats’ offensive line is a concern, which is terrible news with Philly’s pass rush coming to town.
NEW YORK GIANTS +3.5 over Dallas
Daniel Jones and the Giants haven’t beaten the Cowboys since January 2021, but that doesn’t mean this version should score more than a field goal at home. Look for Brian Daboll to cook up something to frustrate Mike McCarthy and company.
NEW YORK JETS +2.5 over Buffalo
Will there be panic on the streets of New York if Aaron Rodgers loses his Jets primetime debut? It’s a real chance against a Bills team that should once again be one of the AFC’s top contenders.
