If you’re more extreme on abortion than Planned Parenthood, it’s a good bet you’re too extreme for Georgia.
Stacey Abrams, a woman who worked for four years as a professional candidate for governor of the Peach State, decided to speak out on an abortion issue this week by taking a stand against one of the key signals that pregnancy is the development of a separate includes humans – even in its earliest, embryonic stages.
And she did it with a conspiracy theory that not even Planned Parenthood propaganda would try to push.
On Tuesday at an event in Atlanta organized by Morehouse College Democrats and Spelman College Democrats, Abrams criticized Georgia’s ban on abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.
The law, officially titled the Living Infants Fairness and Equality Act, went into effect in July following the Supreme Court decision in which Roe v. Wade was lifted, as reported by WAGA-TV from Atlanta. It’s usually known as the “Heartbeat Bill” because it bans abortion from the point at which the unborn child has “a detectable human heartbeat.”

But Abrams explained that the “heartbeat” referred to by the law is a hoax — and one that is being deliberately promoted to subjugate American womanhood.
“There’s no such thing as a heartbeat after six weeks,” she told her audience at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center, according to National Review. “It’s an artificial sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body.”

To be fairer to Abrams than she – or any leftist – is likely to be to a conservative, there is some debate as to whether the activity referred to in the “heartbeat account” is an actual “heartbeat.” , since the heart muscles are in such a tiny human are not yet formed.
But not even Abrams’ soulmates at Planned Parenthood – otherwise united in a murderous desire to do away with the unborn – take the Abrams line that what is commonly referred to as a “heartbeat” is in any way “manufactured” – let alone for manufactured in a deliberate plan to enslave women.
According to Planned Parenthood’s own website, during the fifth and sixth weeks of pregnancy, “part of the embryo begins to show cardiac activity. It sounds like a heartbeat on an ultrasound, but it’s not a fully formed heart — it’s the earliest stage of heart development.”
The earliest stage maybe. But it’s real. And it happens. It’s not an illusion or a misogynistic myth. Abrams is either lying on purpose or is shamefully ignorant.
In any case, this isn’t Abrams’ first attempt to fool herself – and her supporters – over the LIFE bill.
Earlier this month, she took to The View to support the idea of legalized abortion without limits — essentially until the child is born. That drew applause from the show’s educated audience, but she’s unlikely to be popular with the majority of voters in her home state.
“Abortion is a medical decision, not a political decision,” said the Georgia gubernatorial candidate @staceyabrams told #The view to the question of whether there should be legal restrictions on abortions.

In 2019, she (of course) took to MSNBC to criticize the bill as “evil” and “abominable,” saying it was “not only bad for morale and our humanity, but bad for business.”
The bizarre inversion of “morality” and “humanity” in the matter of exterminating helpless people is self-evident.
The hypocrisy behind Abrams’ concern for the “business” — in the form of film and television productions — is less apparent until one remembers that Abrams’ call for a boycott of her own state followed the passage of Georgia’s election integrity bill helped push Major League Baseball to move the All-Star Game out of Atlanta. (She later lied about it, but that’s not surprising.)
She is clearly more concerned with progressive priorities than economic well-being. And she cares more about both than about human life.
As for the truth, she clearly doesn’t care.
Do you think Stacey Abrams is too radical for Georgia voters?
Yes: 100% (3 votes)
No: 0% (0 votes)
Her statement Tuesday, describing the “fetal heartbeat” as nothing more than an invention by men bent on keeping women in a sort of imaginary second-class citizenship, is so far beyond reality that not even the Butchers from Planned Parenthood can approve.
That doesn’t bode well for a woman trying to win the votes of her fellow Georgians — not even the Georgia Democrats.
Contrary to the deluded Abrams, medicine, logic, and even Planned Parenthood itself acknowledge that something is actually happening in the womb that is directly related to the development of what will become the human body’s most important organ – something that obviously is not “manufactured” is convincing people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body.”
So there’s really no question as to whether the developing child has or will have a heart – even at six weeks.
The better question is what happened to Stacey Abrams?
