The musical entertainment is provided by an 18-piece big band with some of the best musicians in the north under the direction of Benjamin Moss.
For those who don’t feel like hitting the sprung dance floor, the magnificent vestibules offer a quieter place to relax with friends.
There will even be a specially curated garden room with an indoor croquet lawn for you to enjoy!
As 12pm approaches, guests can step outside and enjoy the atmosphere in the shadow of the cathedral as Great Peter strikes twelve.
For those staying in the warmth, a bagpiper and band offer a unique rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
Danielle Mason, director of Noble Happenings, which is hosting the exclusive ball, said: “We are delighted to be taking over the majestic gathering spaces. We have put together an unforgettable evening that will delight and entertain you. This is one of the few events of its kind in the North, so we encourage guests to book early to secure tickets for this magical evening.”
The ball is run by the same team that hosted the hugely popular, sell-out Coronation Ball in May, which had hundreds of people on the waiting list for tickets and was listed as one of the top Coronation events in the list by international leisure company Time Out became Great Britain!
A limited number of early bird tickets are available from £159, with additional tickets priced at £175 and VIP tickets priced at £195.
