Noni Madueke reveals Mauricio Pochettino was ‘tough’ on him at Chelsea

After further major changes at Stamford Bridge, the results for the former Tottenham coach have been mixed so far.
Although there have been promising signs, defeats to West Ham and Nottingham Forest in the first four games of the season have increased the pressure.
Madueke helped England Under-21s win Euro 2023 in July but has struggled with injuries in pre-season.
The former PSV Eindhoven striker was somewhat fit again and had a 28-minute cameo in the defeat against Forest in which he wants to fight for a starting place.
On coping with life under the Blues boss: “He’s tough on me but I probably need that.”
“He’s also transparent, which is really important to know where you stand and what he expects from you.” He knows when to be really hard on me and when to put his arm around me. I can’t blame him.
“He’s a really good manager. “He’s created a culture where we’re brothers off the field. It helps us to have a young squad, so we are together a lot anyway. We’re lucky to have him.”
