North Yorkshire driver banned for traffic offenses

Matthew McCartan, 26, of Riverside Close, Barlby, was given a six-month driving ban after being convicted at Bradford Magistrates Court of driving a car without insurance and without a license in Leeds. He was fined £660 and ordered to pay a statutory surcharge of £66 and prosecution costs of £90.
Two were banned by the Harrogate Magistrates.
Euan Buckland, 24, of Olympia Crescent, Barlby, was convicted of failing to tell police who was driving his car when it was allegedly traveling at high speed on the A658 near Harrogate. He was banned from driving for six months, fined £660 and ordered to pay a statutory surcharge of £66 and prosecution costs of £90.
Babar Amjid, 27, of Commercial Street, Norton, was banned from driving for six months, fined £660 and ordered to pay a statutory surcharge of £264 and £110 prosecution costs after being convicted of failing to tell police had who was driving his car when it was allegedly committing a crime.
