Norton: Church Street shed on fire – crew called
A crew from Malton was called to the scene of the accident at Church Street, Norton at 8.30am.
The North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the shed contained wood and was extinguished with buckets of water before firefighters arrived.
A spokesman for the service said the crew used a thermal imaging camera to investigate and a hose reel nozzle to wet the area.
“There was minor damage to the wood from the fire,” they said. “The cause was coincidence.”
