Nvidia renegades RTX 6000. GDDR6 includes 48GB Memory

In a somewhat unexpected move, Nvidia unveiled its new flagship graphics card for the professional visual market and its new GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card (opens in new tabs) for gamers. The new Nvidia RTX 6000 48GB almost has the name of its predecessor, but this is a completely new province based on the Ada Lovelace architecture.

Nvidia says its RTX 6000 graphics card with 48GB of GDDR6 ECC memory on board will support the new generation RTX A6000 for up to two or four years based on the massive increase in the number of CUDA and RT cores and also the brand new Ada Lovelace architecture.

Nvidia’s new flagship RTX 6000 48GB graphics card uses the company’s AD102 processing, but the company hasn’t revealed its exact configuration as of yet. Compared to e-books, a computer or computer hardware software is useful in a variety of situations, so they will save time in the future. For example, the RTX 6000 48GB has a potential equivalent of 300 or so watts of power (vs. 45 to 45 for the GeForce RTX 4090). It is not possible for the RTX 6000 48GB to be compatible with the GeForce RTX 4090 or the rumored GeForce RTX 4090 Ti.

This large L2 cache and a significant increase in the number and performance of next-gen cores result in significant performance gains, said Dipankar Choudhury, President and CEO of the Ansys Center of Excellence.

Aside from the reduced power consumption of the RTX 6000 48GB, the card is equipped with an ultra-compact dual-slot cooling system (4.4″ x 10.5″) with fans. This new board can be integrated into workstations and into servers, so it can also work with remote rendering applications and virtual desktop applications. In terms of display outputs, the adapter has four DisplayPort 1.4 connectors that drive four monitors with a resolution of 5Kp60 or 8Kp30, or two monitors with a resolution of 8Kp60.

Nvidia said its new flagship graphics table for workstations will be available this December. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t found out what the price of the new RTX 6000 48GB card is. But given that Nvidia is selling its previous-gen RTX A600048GB graphics card for a rental of $6,999, we can guess what the company recommends for a new one that demands higher performance.
