- Saturday (March 18) NCAA Tournament Round Two Tip-Off
- Alabama is the biggest favorite on the board, trailing Maryland by 8.5 points
- Below are the March Madness second round odds during the round of 32 of the NCAA tournament
The first full list of March Madness games certainly didn’t disappoint. We had a 2 and a 4 seed case within the first few hours of Day 1, making Princeton and Furman the top contenders for this year’s Cinderellas.
The first round is still ongoing, but online sportsbooks have already published odds for a handful of second round matches. Those contests will begin on Saturday when the aforementioned Princeton takes on Missouri in the South Region’s 7-on-15 matchup.
March Madness Round 2 Odds (Saturday 18th March)
team | spread | money line | In total |
---|---|---|---|
(15) Princeton | +6.5 (-110) | +240 | Over 150.5 (-110) |
(7) Missouri | -6.5 (-110) | -285 | Under 150.5 (-110) |
team | spread | money line | In total |
(13) Furman | +6 (-110) | +220 | Over 138.5 (-110) |
(4) State of San Diego | -6 (-110) | -260 | Under 138.5 (-110) |
team | spread | money line | In total |
(8) Maryland | +8.5 (-110) | +320 | Over 144.5 (-110) |
(1) Alabama | -8.5 (-110) | -390 | Below 144.5 (-110) |
team | spread | money line | In total |

(1) Kansas | -4 (-110) | -190 | Below 145.5 (-110) |
Despite being the lowest seedling in the March Madness bracket so far, Princeton isn’t the biggest underdog on Saturday’s board. That award belongs to Maryland, who are up against Alabama in the Southern States 8-on-1 game.

Largest and smallest spreads
The Crimson Tide, owner of the second lowest price in NCAA tournament odds, currently sits at 8.5 points. Alabama failed to mark as a 25-point favorite against Texas A&M-CC in the first round, taking his foot off the gas in the second half and driving to a 96-75 win.
Bama claimed the easy win despite getting nothing from star striker Brandon Miller. The scheduled lottery pick went scoreless for the first time all season, missing all five of his field goal attempts before sitting out the final 14 minutes of the game.
Alabama accumulated 96 points, with none coming from top scorer Brandon Miller.

The Crimson Tide covered each of their three games en route to the SEC Tournament title after failing to make it in the final four games of the regular season.
The Terps, meanwhile, defeated West Virginia in Thursday’s first game, winning 67-65 as a 2-point underdog. Maryland shrugged off a slow start to cover for the 22nd time in 34 games this season. They are 5-1 ATS at neutral venues this season and have played in six of eight matchups with ranked opponents.
As for the smallest spread, oddsmakers expect a tight battle between Arkansas and Kansas despite the seeding discrepancy. The Jayhawks, the West Region’s top seed, are currently four-point favorites. Kansas blew past Howard 96-68 to cover the 22-point span while their head coach Bill Self recovered from surgery.
The Jayhawks led the nation in Quadrant 1 wins this season but have been far from spread-breakers. They are 17-18 against the spread so far but have covered in 10 of their last 15 games.
