One was taken to hospital after an “attack” on the Stockton housing estate
Last night emergency services were called to the area of Kingsport Close and Lamport Close in Stockton to reports of a “suspected assault”.
The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) has confirmed it attended the incident with two ambulances, leaving one person in hospital after being treated for head injuries.

Images from the scene this morning show that a police cordon was set up at the scene following the incident, meaning a large part of the property including the roads is closed.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 3.37am today (September 9) to reports of a suspected assault on a man at a private address in Stockton.”
“We dispatched two ambulances and a clinical team leader who treated a patient for head injuries before transporting him to hospital.”
Cleveland police have been contacted for further information.
