Ongoing police incident around the Ouse Bridge in York
North Yorkshire Police say the area around the Ouse Bridge in York has been cordoned off while emergency services deal with an incident just before 9pm this evening (19 May) involving a person on ‘York Beach’, an area of exposed mud flats, has fallen.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
