Only 7 actors have won 3 or more Oscars in acting categories (and the youngest to join the club did so in 2020)

The oscars are arguably the most prestigious awards at which an actor can be recognized.

Even the nominations in the acting categories – Best Leading Actor and Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actor – is an impressive achievement.

Winning a single Oscar can take years. Take Leonardo DiCaprio For example; He won his first in 2016 after appearing in several critically acclaimed films.

If winning an Oscar is hard, imagine how hard it is to win three. Believe it or not, only seven actors have won three or more Oscars in the acting categories since the awards began in 1929.

That means that in 93 years only seven stars have accomplished this feat. The youngest person to join the very exclusive club did so in 2020. The first to drop it did so in 1940.

We rounded up all seven of these stars so you can see who they were!
