OPP watchman, 25, driving 130 mph in Aurora

Ontario Provincial Police said an officer from its Aurora detachment caught a 25-year-old man speeding across the highway. 400 at more than double the legal speed limit of 100 km/h on Saturday morning.

The Toronto man was spotted traveling 130 mph in the southbound lanes of the highway. 400 of King Rd., the OPP said on Twitter, saying the driver was arrested and charged with stunt driving.
The man’s name and the make of the vehicle were not released.

However, the OPP said it was a “new 2024 vehicle” and that it had been impounded for 14 days.
The driving license was also revoked for 30 days.
“Slow down and drive carefully this Labor Day weekend,” the OPP urged.
