Orangebox Training Solutions moves into Boho Zero in Middlesbrough
Orangebox Training Solutions, based in Hartlepool Marina, has a new office in Middlesbrough at Boho Zero, Gosford Street, right in the heart of the city’s largest redevelopment zone.
Orangebox, which trains around 4,000 students each year, has numerous contracts and clients across Teesside including Middlesbrough Football Club and Beyond Housing. Building a long-term base in the region means greater accessibility for learners enrolling in pre-employment courses.
Michael Glenn, Director of Development and Innovation at Orangebox said: “This underscores our commitment to the Tees Valley.
“We are putting down new roots to show that we are here to stay. Over the years we have developed partnerships in the region including a number of local schools and healthcare providers.
“We would like to open up access to our training offer to those employees, employers, the unemployed and family members who now find it easier to learn with us.”
Orangebox previously had an office and training room on Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough and has also opted for pop-up offices at various locations in Middlesbrough and the Tees Valley in local clubs, churches and community centres.
This new, versatile Boho Zero hub can accommodate up to 40 people, making it ideal for comfortable study. It can also be used for smaller groups or as a temporary boardroom.
Glen Hughes, Orangebox Marketing Manager, said: “Boho Zero is modern and an upgrade from what we’ve had before. This enables us to deliver our complete range. We are not only talking about preparatory training here, we can also offer leadership, management and first aid courses.
“There are exciting redevelopment plans and an on-site café/coffee shop that offers discounts to those studying in the building. These factors will help us deliver the courses that provide employment opportunities.”

Instructor Colin McIntyre said, “Right now we are using this as a classroom for those enrolling in a pre-employment lean manufacturing course.
“The classroom is bright, there is a lot of light and the on-site facilities are perfect. These things create the right environment in which learners are happy and motivated to learn. This is important because such factors could be the reason why they turn on and off.”
Boho Zero is within sight of Middlesbrough’s famous transporter bridge and a short walk from the train and bus stations.
