Over 900 servers have been hacked thanks to a Zimbra zero-day

The Zimbra Collaboration Suite contained a zero-day vulnerability for over a month, giving hackers a true field day that resulted in nearly 900 servers (opens in new tab) get hacked.

Kaspersky researchers noticed the vulnerability reported on the Zimbra forums, after which all manner of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) groups used it to compromise countless servers.
