Parents submit application to continue life support ECHR

Archie Battersbee’s parents have applied to the European Court of Human Rights to delay the removal of his life support.

Lawyers working for Hollie Dance and Paul Battersbee were given a 9am deadline on Wednesday to file the motion.

On Tuesday night, Ms Dance said Barts Health NHS Trust would begin removing Archie’s life support at 11am on Wednesday unless the family submitted the application to the court in Strasbourg by 9am.
