Peel cops identify victims and suspects in deadly Brampton stabbing

Police in the Peel area have identified the victim and suspect in a fatal knife attack in Brampton on Friday night.

According to Peel Police, the incident occurred at Hummingbird Crt. and Cherrytree Dr. near Hurontario St. and Hwy. 407

A woman suffered severe trauma and attempted life-saving measures before dying at the scene of the accident.

The victim has been identified as Davinder Kaur, 43, of Brampton.

Police located the suspect – identified as 44-year-old Brampton resident Nav Nishan Singh – near the scene. He faces charges of first-degree murder.
