Pizza Hut brings back the “Big New Yorker” from the late ’90s

Pizza Hut is bringing back one of its most popular pizzas.

It’s been more than two decades since Pizza Hut officially brings back Big New Yorker pizza.

Although this pizza didn’t last long, it definitely gained a huge following very quickly.

The Big New Yorker Pizza made its big debut in 1999 and was created to emulate the “size and build” of a New York-style pizza.

The Big New Yorker is inspired by the spirit of New York with an XL pizza that’s as big and bold as the city that never sleeps, says Pizza Hut of the recurring item, which is topped with marinara sauce, extra cheese and spices to evoke an authentic New York pizzeria.

When customers order the Big New Yorker Pizza, they can have it with any topping of their choice or just the regular double pepperoni topping. Additional cheese and toppings are available at an additional cost.

Pizza Hut has stated that they have received numerous requests to bring this pizza back since it was withdrawn from the menu. Pizza Hut also cited social media activity, Reddit threads and a petition “with thousands of signatures” for its decision to put pizza back on the menu.

If you want to get your hands on a Big New York Pizza, it will cost around $13.99 and will be available for a limited time starting February 1st, 2023. However, if you are a Hut Rewards member, you can receive the pizza as early as January 31, 2023.
