The Pokemon TCG is an indefinitely unpredictable market. Over the last two years we’ve had renewed interest in this hobby due to a number of factors including 25th anniversary, strong Sword and Shield sets with stunning alternative arts, influencers, box break, COVID-19 lockdown, people urges to find hobbies, and more. A long time ago it was difficult to find quickly available sets and cards. Now that the hype has died down, let’s see where modern sets stand. I will be making a Pokemon series every month. This series isn’t financial advice, but rather a way to increase the perception of card abilities so the happiest players like me can find the time to strike. Today we see how the path of the champion in October, October 20, is doing now.

Here are the cheapest Pokémon TCG: Path of the Champion cards with market values considered from this point of view:
The Charizard VMAX Rainbow Rare may remain the only dynamic card in Champions Path. The previous year’s Pokemon TCG Value Watch made the card appear out of nowhere. The move is likely largely based on the trend of rainbow rares falling in popularity while alternative arts rise. The Shrine Chest (Gassa), which seems relatively up-tempo and only changed a single dollar between October 2022 and now, will now rise to the price of their Shiny Charaz, which seems to have lost its charm, and now, it seems im to have fluctuated in value. This isn’t an interesting set worth looking for sealed products to hunt down those Charizards.
