Police are searching for an armed robber who robbed a York shop at knifepoint
The man entered Costcutter on Wains Road, Dringhouses at around 9.45am and threatened a member of staff with a knife.
He then stole cash from the till and a bottle of vodka before exiting the store and driving off towards Chaloners Road on a silver balance bike.
The robber is described as white, in his 30s, wearing a black face covering, dark clothing and a baseball cap.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes the person in the picture to get in touch with them as they believe they may have important information.
