Police are searching for the driver of a York Renault Luton van after an accident

According to North Yorkshire Police, the accident occurred on Brunswick Street, South Bank, at around 7.35pm on Friday, August 18. This involved a white Renault Luton high-sided van which turned from Albermarle Road onto Brunswick Street and then collided with a parked gray Ford Fiesta. The vehicle sustained significant damage before being driven away.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for information about the Renault Luton van and its driver.”

“The vehicle has marks on the left side wall of the rear compartment and possibly some damage to the front.

“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should email matthew.tasker@northyorkshire.police.uk.
