Police search for missing teenage girl Caitlin in York

North Yorkshire Police say there are growing concerns for 19-year-old Caitlin, from the Scarborough area.

Police said this evening (Friday, May 26) that they are appealing for sightings and information to help locate her.

Caitlin was last seen leaving her Scarborough address just after 1pm yesterday (Thursday 25 May).

A police spokesman said: “Officers have launched an extensive investigation to find them.”

“However, concerns are growing for her safety as she has not managed to return to her home address.”

“Officials continue to search for her in and around Scarborough, York and other places, visiting known friends and places she has been before.”

Caitlin is described as white, with a stocky build and long dark hair that she often wears in a bun.

She has a tattoo on her wrist and was last seen wearing a yellow and beige hoodie with ‘YOU ARE ENOUGH’ written on the front, black leggings, a blue waisted jacket and a pale pink backpack.
