Police “very concerned” for girl, 15, who was reported missing three days ago

A new appeal has been launched to help police find a 15-year-old girl who has been missing for three days.

Faith Marley, from the Leith area of ​​Edinburgh, was last seen on CCTV meeting a man in Glasgow.

Police said the teenager arrived on a number 900 Citylink bus from the Scottish capital, which arrived at Glasgow’s Buchanan bus station just after 11.05am on Wednesday.

She was then seen on video surveillance meeting a man just after 11.20am before the couple exited the bus station towards Nordhannoverstrasse.

Police said they remain “very concerned” for Faith and hope to identify the man she was with to help them in their search.

Faith was described as approximately 5’7″, of medium build, with dark blonde, shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing a black hooded top, leggings and black and white Converse heels.

The man she was seen with was described as white with dark hair and is believed to be in his 20s or 30s, police said.

He was wearing a gray sweater, black pants and black shoes and was seen pulling a white or silver suitcase or box with a blue bag on the handle and carrying a dark backpack.

Chief Inspector Cath Thorburn said: “This sighting in Glasgow is now the latest confirmed sighting of Faith.

“Although nothing from our investigations indicates that she was harmed, she has not been seen since Wednesday morning and we remain very concerned for her.

“We urge anyone who thinks you have seen or heard from Faith at any time since Wednesday to get in touch with us urgently.

“We are working to identify the man who was seen leaving the Buchanan bus station with her, as he may have information that could help. If you know who he is or if you recognize yourself, please get in touch.

“If you can help please call us immediately on 101 quoting the reference number 0385 dated Wednesday 15 March 2023.”
